Bruce Prenguber is the President of Globalwise Inc. and a professional economist. He directs all business services performed by Globalwise Inc.
Bruce has over 25 years of economic consulting and business management experience. Since 1978 he has consulted on over 200 marketing, economic research and forensic economic engagements. He graduated with Honors from Washington State University with a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics and earned a Masters degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
Following graduate school, Bruce has continued to gain professional experience as an economist with emphasis in agriculture, food businesses and other business clients. He has worked in state government and managed an export trade association. His professional interests and skills are used to evaluate regional/community economic impacts, employment, transportation, domestic and international marketing opportunities.
For attorney clients, Bruce’s services include testimony as an economic expert in State and Federal courts. He also evalutes other experts’ reports and prepares written reports for litigation support.
Bruce regularly speaks to a range of audiences on current projects and economic trends. He also has taught upper level economic courses as an adjunct instructor at the Vancouver campus of Washington State University.
Bruce serves as an advisor to the Friends of Economic Sciences, a group of alumni and faculty at Washington State University who support the outreach and fund-raising needs of the School. He also advises food and farm organizations in Southwest Washington to assist them strengthen the local food sector.
